Overview
The sebae anemone (Heteractis crispa) is a host anemone with a leathery column and long tentacles, hosting clownfish such as ocellaris and clarkii. It anchors its foot in rock crevices and prefers fairly strong light and moderate-to-strong flow. Avoid bleached (zooxanthellae-lost) specimens as they are in poor condition, and choose healthy pigmented individuals. It needs strong light and stable water, suiting intermediate-to-advanced keepers.
