Overview

The mini maxi anemone (Stichodactyla tapetum) is a small carpet anemone a few centimeters across, with a wide range of fluorescent green and rainbow color variants. Hardy and relatively sedentary, it is an approachable anemone even for nano tanks. Keep it under moderate light and gentle-to-moderate flow, with occasional feeding for good growth. It is quite sticky and will sting small corals or animals it touches, so allow some clearance. It is not a reliable clownfish host.
