Overview
The long tentacle anemone (LTA) buries into the sand, anchoring its foot to rock below while spreading long tentacles. It hosts clownfish such as ocellaris and clarkii. It needs fairly strong light, stable water quality, and a deep sand bed, and responds well to feeding. Because it can wander into pump intakes, guarding intakes is important. It suits intermediate-plus keepers.
