Overview
The magnificent anemone (Heteractis magnifica) is a large host anemone with a brightly colored column, popular as a host for ocellaris and clarkii clownfish. It anchors its foot high on open rock and demands strong light and strong flow. If conditions do not suit it, it wanders repeatedly with a risk of pump-intake accidents, so guarded intakes and stable water are essential. Large and demanding, it is for advanced keepers.
