Overview

'Cotton Candy Torch' is a trade name for a torch coral named after its soft pink-to-pastel coloration. Among torches, where gold and warm tones dominate, a pale pink cast is unusual and prized for its rarity. It is traded by name, but pastel tones shift markedly with the color temperature of the lighting, so it is wise to check the lighting conditions when buying. Care follows Euphyllia in general: moderate light, gentle flow, and spacing for its sweeper tentacles. Brown jelly disease precautions are the same as for other torches. How to identify

Unlike the deep red-to-orange of the Hellfire group, Cotton Candy shows pale pink-to-pastel tones, and its low saturation is the giveaway. It is also separated by hue from the yellow-dominated Banana Torch.
