Overview

'Gold Torch' is a trade name for torch corals whose tentacle tips fluoresce gold. Like Euphyllia generally, it prefers moderate light and gentle flow, and extends long sweeper tentacles, so keep ample distance from neighbors (including hammer and frogspawn). Susceptible to brown jelly disease, it should be kept stable, avoiding wounds and water-quality swings. We treat it here as a lineage.
