Overview
Sandalolitha is a plate-coral (fungiid) relative, a large oval multi-mouthed free-living coral. Its skeleton is not attached to rock, so it is kept resting on sand. It prefers moderate light and gentle-to-moderate flow, is hardy and easy to keep. It extends short tentacles at night and responds to feeding. Green and brown coloration is typical; give it ample space as it grows large.
