Overview

Ricordea yuma is a Pacific corallimorph mushroom with larger, more three-dimensional vesicles than the Atlantic Florida species. Vivid multicolor specimens in orange, green and blue are prized. It prefers moderate light and gentle flow, shrinking under intense light or flow. It reproduces by division and settles well placed singly in a rock depression. It is somewhat more finicky than the Florida species.
