Overview

Mycedium is one of the 'chalice' corals, growing as thin plates with protruding corallites on the surface. It prefers low-to-moderate light and gentle flow, and can bleach under intense lighting. Growth is relatively slow, suiting the mid-to-lower layout. It extends sweeper tentacles at night, so allow clearance around it.
