Overview

Leptastrea spreads over rock as an encrusting coral and is easy even for beginners. It colors up under moderate light, with fluorescent orange and green colonies traded. It grows quickly and covers rockwork, so watch its boundary with neighbors. Its wide tolerance of flow and light adds to its appeal.
