Overview
'Raja Rampage' is a multicolor plating chalice (LPS) trade lineage in which red, orange, green and blue run riot, shifting between the mouths and the body; its flamboyance has made it an established collector lineage. Like chalices generally, keep it under low-to-moderate light and gentle-to-moderate flow; intense light bleaches it and reduces the color count. Its long nocturnal sweepers need clearance, growth is slowish, and stable water is key to keeping the colors. As a trade name, we treat it here as a lineage.
How to identify
Bubblegum Monster has green mouths on a pink-to-red body and Miami Hurricane is a two-tone of blue-green mouths on red-orange, whereas Raja Rampage shifts the body itself through red, orange, green and blue. Watermelon is a two-tone of green and red; the number of colors separates them.
Typical price range
