Overview

'Purple Death' is a large Palythoa trade morph with a purple rim around a yellow-green mouth. Its subdued purple palette is popular, and it keeps under moderate light and flow. Palythoa is hardier than Zoanthus, but because palytoxin tends to be concentrated, handle it carefully. We treat it here as a lineage.
