Overview
'Holy Grail Micromussa' is a Micromussa lineage with vivid, layered multi-color rings inside each polyp, circulating as divided pieces carrying the name. Because 'Holy Grail' is also used for corals of several other genera, it is usually named together with Micromussa (acan) to avoid confusion. Growth is slow and it is handled as single-polyp frags. Keep it under low-to-moderate light and gentle flow; strong light washes out color, and night feeding maintains color and growth. We register it here as a lineage and do not assert origin.
How to identify
Rainbow and Ultra are color labels for selected specimens, whereas Holy Grail is a lineage passed on by division. Its looks overlap with top-end Rainbow Acans, so the named source of the frag is the basis for identification. It is unrelated to 'Holy Grail' corals of other genera such as torches.
